The Lancia Delta HF Integrale is a sports version of the Lancia Delta, explicitly designed to take part in the World Rally Championship, a championship in which it competed from 1988 to 1993 obtaining 5 constructors' world titles and 35 victories. After having repeated both world rally titles in 1988, the Delta HF Integrale "8v" - as would be unofficially identified later - was further improved the following year thanks to the introduction of the new engine with 4-valve distribution per cylinder: now called officially Delta HF Integrale 16v, made its debut at the end of the 1989 championship, at the Sanremo Rally, where thanks to the outgoing champion Miki Biasion, scored a memorable victory after an extraordinary comeback on Alex Fiorio and Carlos Sainz. The car continued to get repeat successes throughout the next two years.
BBR presents the twin version of car number 1 (BBRC1839) raced by Auriol-Occelli.
