An extraordinary model with an extraordinary story. A US industrialist of German descent ordered two 600s from Mercedes-Benz in the 1960s: one with a short wheelbase and one with a Pullman body. He had both tailor-made with a white exterior and cream-colored leather interior. His legacy was that both cars would one day return to Germany and find a new owner together. That's how it happened, and the limousines have become known as "White Swans" in the classic car scene.
